Position Summary:

Our client is seeking a Private Chef to provide a focused approach to healthy, nutritious meals within specific dietary parameters. This right candidate is an easy-going team player who would enjoy working alongside and training our Sous Chef.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily hot meals according to various dietary restrictions and preferences for the principal to include late breakfast and early dinner.
• Higher level cooking for small dinner parties and occasional guests.
• Menu planning and provisioning.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchens.

Qualifications:

• A culinary degree or equivalent high-level culinary experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience cooking in a restaurant, resort or private home.
• Familiar with a wide range of cuisines and someone who wants to continue learning.
• ServSafe certification is required, and a background in nutrition is a plus.
• Knowledge of serving styles, place settings and protocols and/or a willingness to learn.

Schedule:

Generally, five days a week with flexibility required. You can be based in Orange County, CA with substantial travel to Sun Valley, ID from November February. If you prefer, you can be based in Sun Valley with travel to Orange County.

Compensation:

Compensation $150,000 $200,000, depending on experience and qualifications, plus benefits.
