The Role

The Safety Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of the companys Safety Program for a designated set of BURGs. This individual leads the integration and development of the Territory Safety Leads (TSL) and monitors the performance of safety within the BURGs. This role is considered a subject matter expert with regards to jobsite safety requirements and the associated tools and processes related to planning and executing work.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Area Leads during the Talent Planning Process to review open needs and development priorities associated with the TSLs.
• Leads the integration and development of the TSLs to achieve a high degree of competency in safety as it relates to the companys Safety Program, planning and execution processes, and influencing behaviors.
• Understands the uniqueness of work processes as it relates to the various market types and teaches the TSLs accordingly.
• Monitors BURG safety performances through data analysis, utilization of safety metrics, and influences Area Leads to take appropriate action as necessary.
• Audits the implementation of the Safety Program through routine site visits with the TSLs and engages the Project Team and Area Lead to drive improvement of outcomes.
• Leads any incident investigation to determine the root cause and collaborates with the appropriate co-workers to identify corrective measures to prevent repeat occurrences.

• CHST Certification (strong preference)
• Holds OSHA 30 Certification
• 7-10+ Years of Experience in construction
