Location: Atlanta, GA

Base Salary Rate: $117,289-$140,000 + target bonus of 25%.

About this Role:

The National Account Manager – Home Depot Pro and Field Sales will oversee all aspects of Quote Center, Pro Desk, Field Sales and Training for The Home Depot (THD) account team. This role is accountable for building a strong relationship with Home Depot Field and PRO leadership to achieve annual sales objectives. The position is responsible for training and cultivating all Pro outside sales personnel and working with Pro inside sales personnel in closing new business opportunities with single-family home builders, multi-family developers/contractors, and remodeling companies. The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring all sales and promotional programs are known to Pro and Field personnel to drive revenue and market share.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for developing and achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while positioning the business for continued growth.
  • Provide monthly field communication with any relevant product and building code updates.
  • Regularly review and analyze business performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead regional and store training events (RVP Walks, PRO events, etc.).
  • Develop relationships with Store and PRO personnel; be the primary point of contact for all PRO and Field Sales needs.
  • Develop, promote, highlight, and share relevant training materials to help PRO and Field Sales personnel gain the necessary knowledge of the fire safety category and “Why Kidde.”
  • Create and execute the annual operating plan for The Home Depot PRO/Field Sales account.
  • 50% of the time will be spent traveling in markets supporting sales and leading training.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • 7+ years of sales management and/or Sales Training experience.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business.
  • 7+ years of direct experience or equivalent industry experience.
  • Channel management experience in home improvement retail, club, big box, and e-commerce distribution channels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners as well as the customer.
  • Self-sufficient detail-oriented multi-tasker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in selling and/or marketing safety or building products categories preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range for this role is $117-289-$140,000. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual performance bonus based on both individual and company’s performance. The final compensation for this position will be set based on the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as it relates to the job requirements.
