Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager with strong banking and commercial lending experience to lead the delivery of high-impact projects in a hybrid Waterfall/Agile environment. In this role, you will manage end-to-end project lifecycles, oversee budgets, mitigate risks, and partner with senior executives to ensure strategic alignment. You will be instrumental in driving governance, ensuring compliance with established processes, and delivering measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

• Manage small to medium-sized projects of moderate complexity, with a focus on credit OR AFS commercial lending platform and banking initiatives.
• Lead projects from original concept through final implementation, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Develop detailed project schedules, estimates, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage RAID logs, project charters, and governance documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including integration partners and offshore resources.
• Deliver executive-level status updates, scorecards, and steering committee presentations.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, compliance requirements, and organizational policies.

Resource Planning

• Collaborate with leadership and portfolio managers on capacity planning.
• Forecast labor and engage the right resources at the right time.
• Coordinate contingent labor selection and onboarding when necessary.

Risk & Issue Management

• Define risks, track and document mitigation strategies, and escalate when appropriate.
• Distinguish between risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Drive adherence to corporate and departmental policies in all technical artifacts and decisions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of project management experience, with demonstrated success in Waterfall project delivery
• Proven track record managing end-to-end project financials, RAID logs, project charters, and governance.
• Strong background in banking, with commercial lending or commercial/credit experience required.
• Proficiency with JIRA, MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, and CAPPM/Clarity.
• Experience defining requirements, writing scopes, documenting budgets, and leading meetings with executive stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and structured work approach.
• Commercial loan servicing / AFS Vision platform upgrade projects OR Credit projects
