Requirements:

  • Design and implement cutting-edge AAC solutions tailored to each student's unique communication needs
  • Collaborate with students, families, and educational teams to identify the perfect assistive technology tools
  • Provide hands-on training and ongoing support for AAC devices, software, and communication strategies
  • Support academic achievement through specialized AT interventions and accommodations
  • Participate in IEP meetings as a vital team member, contributing expertise that shapes student succes

Professional Qualifications

  • Active California license in Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), or Physical Therapy (PT)
  • OR Valid California teaching credential
  • Certification in Assistive Technology (AT) required
  • Availability for IEP meetings and collaborative planning sessions
