Grays Harbor Veterinary Service is looking for a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team! This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity with on-the-job training and clear paths for growth and development within the clinic.

In this role, you'll help veterinarians and technicians with handling pets during exams, vaccines, and blood draws. You'll also help keep exam and treatment areas clean and ready throughout the day. This position is perfect for someone who's a team player, stays organized, and enjoys helping wherever needed.

This is a full-time position, with a 5- 8 hour schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $17-18 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current VA experience

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Client communication
  • Patient restraint
  • Oral medication administration
  • Medical note taking
