Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with strong OASIS and HCHB experience for a remote home health chart review role requiring an active CA PT license.

Responsibilities

• Remote position focused on home health OASIS chart review and processing chart tasks 3-4
• Work schedule is four 8-hour day shifts per week, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, including one weekend day
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Primary duties are in the back office, reviewing OASIS and processing HCHB documentation
• On-call rotation is required
• Virtual training includes a 3-hour onboarding session
• Timely and effective communication and documentation are expected
• Former permanent employees must have a 6-month separation and HR approval to be eligible
• Travel pairs accepted; each traveler must have their own territory and transportation
• Locals are accepted for this position
• All requested time off must be submitted with initial application

Requirements

• Active California PT license required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant PT experience
• Experience as a back office OASIS reviewer is required
• Proficiency in HCHB (Homecare Homebase) and OASIS is required
• Current BCLS certification required
• Experience with home health setting is required
• Must have an active driver’s license and access to personal transportation
• Must complete a Hospice/Home Health Checklist for consideration
