Apply today and discover how a career with NARS can be both rewarding and empowering. Job Description: Handle a case load commensurate with the complexity level of claims assigned. Responsibilities include establishing facts of loss, coverage analysis, investigation, compensability/liability/negligence determination, coordination of medical care (as appropriate), litigation management, damage assessment, settlement negotiations, identifying potential fraud, and appropriate use of authorized vendors. Also includes timely reserve analysis and report completion. Attend conferences, client meetings, mentor other adjusters, and assist management as requested. All file handling must comply with state statutes, Client Claims Handling Guidelines, and NARS Best Practices. Other duties may include travel. Qualification Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required; 2-year degree or higher preferred. 7+ years of prior claim adjusting experience, preferably in the relevant line of business. 7+ years of heavy litigation experience for all lines except Worker’s Compensation. 5+ years of Construction Defect or related experience if handling that line of business. Eligible for reserve/payment authority of $50,000+ when appropriate. Must possess or obtain a Florida Adjuster’s license or other required jurisdictional licensing. Salary range for the Sr. Claims Adjuster – Construction Defect position is $80,000 - $130,000, exclusive of benefits and bonuses.
