Your Day-to-Day Provides engineering, design, and development support Tracks and reports on project contractual execution and design progress Delivers company standards, policies, and support of organization Prepares communications, presentations and provides support at meetings Formulates research, and develops improvement measures Works with other departments within the organization to establish customer requirements Ability to work extended hours Performs other job-related duties as assigned Who You Are As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: Bachelor's – Engineering Experience: 3+ years in relevant P&C/Substation/Metering Engineering experience, and Project Management. Minimum of 3-5 years of metering experience is required. Typical metering experience includes an ability to read protection & control drawings, understanding of instrument transformers including type, accuracy, & burden (CT, PTs, CVTs), familiarity with a variety of metering technologies with a focus on Schneider Electric ION-8650 meters. Understanding of meter to meter (peer to peer) schemes, familiarity with iron (Fe) and copper (Cu) loss compensation methods for transformers, generator tie line loss compensation. Sharing losses amongst different technologies or PPA customers, and the ability to program meters or create metering templates. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s – Electrical Engineering. Master’s – Engineering Management. PMP Certification. Experience: 5+ years P&C/Subs/Metering Engineering experience. With 2+yrs of project management experience. Why WECTEC Staffing Services?
