Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Kitchen and Bath Designer to join our team at our Edwards showroom. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues. As a Senior Kitchen and Bath Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for kitchens, baths, closets and secondary spaces, ensuring they meet the needs and preferences of our clients while adhering to industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences. Develop creative and functional designs for kitchens, baths, closets and secondary spaces using CAD or SketchUp software and other design tools. Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess space constraints. Work closely with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently. Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the design and construction process. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and building codes related to kitchen and bath design. Assist with project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, site visits and procurement of materials. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or similar or 4+ years in relative experience. Proven experience in kitchen and bath design, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects. Proficiency in CAD or SketchUp software and other design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite). Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to kitchen and bath design. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Motivated to increase base pay with uncapped potential earnings in commissions.
