Job Overview
Polar Clean, a division of Premium Plant Services, is hiring a Sales Representative to grow our business in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical markets. Based in Webster, TX, this role involves prospecting, client site visits, estimating projects, and building lasting customer relationships. Candidates must have industry experience and be willing to travel up to 50%. We offer $65,000–$85,000 base salary plus commissions, along with 100% employer-paid health, and dental benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Research and identify target clients
Make cold calls and introductory emails
Conduct prospect conversations to uncover future opportunities
Track and manage all outreach in CRM
Sales & Business Development
Qualify leads and assess client needs
Travel to client sites, take measurements/photos, and gather project details
Prepare cost estimates using Excel-based tools
Draft proposals and maintain accurate CRM records
Deliver sales presentations and support vendor setup as needed
Client & Operations Support
Act as the liaison between clients and operations during project planning and execution
Ensure documentation for safe work execution is completed
Communicate project updates with clients and internal teams
Provide sales-side support to technicians during projects
Account Management
Conduct post-project reviews with clients
Maintain regular check-ins with existing accounts
Log all client interactions and updates in CRM
Requirements
2+ years of sales experience (technical or industrial preferred)
Direct Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry experience required; contractor/operations background a plus
Ability to travel 1–2 days per week (up to 50%)
Familiarity with processing equipment in refineries and petrochemical plants
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM (Salesforce preferred)
Highly organized, self-motivated, and resilient to rejection
Professional image and behavior with a collaborative mindset
Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain TWIC card; must pass background check and random drug/alcohol testing
Additional Requirements
Light physical activity (up to 50 lbs.), with occasional climbing, kneeling, or prolonged standing
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varied conditions with PPE provided
Preferred Experience
Business development or technical sales experience
Customer service in industrial markets
Prior experience selling into Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industries
Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay: $65,000–$85,000 + commissions
