Our client, a leading MEP contractor operating throughout South Florida, is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to oversee and enforce health and safety protocols across multiple project sites in the Miami area. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to safety, a strong understanding of MEP construction environments, and the credentials to drive a culture of safety excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Implement and manage site-specific safety plans in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

· Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.

· Lead incident investigations and develop corrective action plans.

· Deliver safety orientation and ongoing training to project teams and subcontractors.

· Serve as the on-site expert for all safety-related matters.

· Monitor subcontractor safety practices and enforce safety compliance across all trades.

· Maintain up-to-date safety documentation and reporting.

· Promote a strong safety culture through leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of safety management experience within the construction industry, preferably in MEP or similar trades.

· OSHA 500 certification (required).

· Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations.

· Proven track record of managing safety on complex construction sites.

· Excellent communication and leadership skills.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-risk construction environment.

· Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
