MUST HAVE LIST:

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, engineering, chemistry, physics, math, computer sciences, or related fields.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory.
• Prior experience with spatial technologies or pathology/histology/IHC is preferred but not required.
• Quick learner/open to learning.

Position Summary

This position will be part of the Translational Development Team in Cambridge, MA. The team deploys high-dimensional profiling tools such as spatial protein/RNA characterization to fill translational knowledge gaps relevant to our development pipelines. This role will support our team to answer key translational questions for our programs.

Position Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of latest generation Phenocycler Fusion and Visium; preparation of samples and reagents; and assistance in assay development and optimization.

• Operate and maintain the instruments.
• Prepare and manage reagents. Perform reagent validation. Prepare slides for analysis.
• Maintain an accurate record of samples, reagents. Maintain and organize the inventory.
• Perform routine data transferring.
• Assist in the development of new reagents.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, engineering, chemistry, physics, math, computer sciences, or related fields.
• Prior experience with spatial technologies or pathology/histology/IHC is preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
• Ideal candidates will be quick learners and comfortable with new technologies and have excellent hands-on and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Skills for effective and timely communication with colleagues.
• A 3-5 years of lab-related experience preferred.

Working Conditions

• Contingent worker will be primarily in a laboratory environment and may work with hazardous materials, including tissue and blood samples.
