Job Summary:

The Ranch Hand will support day-to-day farm operations related to goat care and general maintenance. This includes cleaning and maintaining goat pens, herding and feeding goats, repairing fences, and performing various farm chores as assigned by the Ranch Supervisor or lead team member. The ideal candidate will have livestock handling experience, be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, and be a reliable team player with a strong work ethic.

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain goat pens, including enclosures and waterers
• Herd and feed goats according to schedule
• Perform fence repairs and other basic farm maintenance
• Complete farm-related chores as directed by the Ranch Supervisor or lead
• Use farm and hand tools effectively (shovels, rakes, pliers, etc.)
• Follow all instructions from supervisors and collaborate with coworkers

Required Skills:

• Ability to maneuver and restrain large goats
• Hardworking and comfortable getting dirty
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Experience working with livestock
• Proficient with basic farm and hand tools
• Strong ability to follow direction and work as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in a similar ranch or farm setting
