Job Description
The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT
projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level.
Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director.
Job Responsibilities:
· Ensure weekly report generation for each supplier at Control Tower (CT) risk level, including coverage file report and BIQ report.
· Report checking and data quality verification. ·
· Ensure clearly located in SharePoint and signposted weekly for CT coordinators. ·
· Generate and evolve CT Effectiveness metrics and ensure published weekly. (Will require data analytics skills)
· Complete weekly Quality gate checks on new Purchasing Practice for Force Majeure notifications.
· Aid CT onboarding for CT Coordinators and LPAs ·
· Support regular CT process queries · ECT mailbox management
· Ensure the weekly reporting cycle comprehensively completed. ·
· Support development of standard work and CT Community materials ·
· Generate LPA weekly update/reminder communications ·
· Assist to maintain the process data issues log and drive action ·
· Assist with producing CT status summary reports for leadership ·
· Assist with CT audit activity, training, std work maintenance, responding to customer questions
· Support other Supplier risk processes as required within the velocity team
· Support in Supplier capacity capability and governance
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree preferable but not essential
· Demonstrated Experience in Procurement, Supply Chain Minimum 2 years
· Strong Analytical / PC Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint)
· Strong Communication and organizational skills
Additional Role Details: Supply risk and response management support role.
Enterprise control tower report prep and validation , training, communication Supplier capacity support.
