About the Role
The Company is seeking a President and Chief Operating Officer (PCOO) for Martha's Vineyard Hospital, a critical access facility with a strong commitment to providing high-quality, accessible medical care. Candidates for the PCOO position should have a Master's degree in healthcare administration or a related discipline, MD, or DNP, with at least 10 years of administrative/management experience, preferably in a community environment. The role requires a leader who is performance-focused, customer/patient-centric, and adept at managing complexity. The PCOO will be expected to ensure the safe, high-quality, and efficient delivery of services, comply with regulations, and lead the hospital in philanthropic efforts. Key qualifications include a strong leadership background, the ability to build and manage effective teams, and a commitment to driving equity and inclusion. The successful candidate will work closely with the hospital's Board of Trustees and community leaders to fulfill the hospital's mission and promote its role in the community.
