We are seeking two skilled Welding Technicians to join our team in a shop environment. This role involves welding stainless steel pipes to meet fabrication demands for upcoming projects. This opportunity offers a standard 40-hour workweek over several weeks and could potentially lead to a contract-to-hire position for the right candidates. A weld test will be conducted using a 2-inch schedule 10 stainless coupon TIG test. Responsibilities include performing TIG welding on stainless steel pipes, reading and interpreting blueprints to execute precise welding tasks, utilizing MIG welding techniques as needed, engaging in fabrication tasks to support project requirements, ensuring high-quality welding standards, and adhering to safety protocols.
Essential skills include proficiency in TIG welding of stainless steel, experience in MIG welding, a strong understanding of blueprint reading and fitting, and the ability to perform fabrication tasks. Additional skills and qualifications include experience with flux core welding and knowledge of sheet metal welding.

This is a contract position based out of Fuquay-Varina, NC. The pay range for this position is $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
