Soliant is growing and seeking a pharmacist to join our team in upstate New York! We have several locations available!

Position Details:

• Position: Outpatient Pharmacist
• Location: Syracuse
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 Weeks or temp-to-hire
• Shift: This exciting role offers a flexible 80-hour schedule every two weeks, with 33 hours in one week and 47 hours in the next.
• Outpatient Operations Hours: You'll be part of our outpatient pharmacy team, operating during the following hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am to 6:30 pm
  • Sunday: 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Job Duties: As an outpatient Pharmacist with Soliant Health, you'll be responsible for the following:

• Verifying prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness for patients.
• Filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Conducting thorough checks on filled prescriptions to maintain quality control and adherence to regulations.
• Overseeing pharmacy technicians' work to ensure compliance with protocols and standards.
• Providing patient consultations regarding their medications, including usage instructions, potential side effects, and interactions.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient information.
• Staying updated on pharmaceutical developments, regulations, and best practices to provide the highest level of service.
• Handling inquiries or concerns from patients or healthcare providers with professionalism and empathy.
