Hourly Pay Range: $18.38 - $26.65 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Po sition Highlights: - Position: Patient Support Assistant
- Location: Glenview, IL
- Full Time/Part Time: Full- Time (40 hours per week)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8-10 hour shift during hours of operation
- Travel: Will need to travel to Highland Park Hospital if needed
What you will do: - Answer phones
- Schedule appointments
- Collect co-payments
- Complete patient registration
- Provide other administrative support to the physician practice
- Check in and check out patient
- Verify insurances
What you will need: - Education : High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required
- Certification : N/A
- Experience : One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience
