The successful candidate for this position will be licensed in New York State to dispense eyewear, have had previous optical experience, exemplary customer service skills, and the desire to grow professionally with the fastest growing group of eyecare professionals in Western New York. Report daily to a clean, safe, professional office environment, in a dispensary for eyeglasses and contact lenses, while under the direction of an experienced optometrist. The position is 5 days per week, with competitive pay and benefits, as described in the job posting. An allowance for purchasing eyewear and pro-rated paid time off apply following a waiting period. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients in selecting and fitting eyewear.
• Utilize optical experience to accurately measure and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Educate customers on lens options, frames, and lens care based on their needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the optical area.
• Collaborate with the optometrist to ensure accurate prescriptions and recommendations are followed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new products to better serve customers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
