LaSalle Network is hiring on behalf of a well-established, industry-leading food manufacturing company known for it's long-standing employee retention, operational excellence, and continuous growth. As they expand their HR function, they're looking for an experienced and high-energy Human Resources Manager to join their flagship manufacturing center near Ocean City, MD.

The Human Resources Manager will lead the human resources function at the manufacturing level, providing strategic and hands-on support in all areas of HR. This includes employee relations, talent management, change leadership, compliance, and workforce development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in manufacturing HR, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and a proven track record in process improvement and leading change initiatives.

Human Resources Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day HR operations for the plant, including employee relations, talent development, policy administration, and compliance.
  • Supervise and develop a team of HR professionals (HR Generalists, Recruiters, and HR support staff).Serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership, driving alignment between HR practices and business goals.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts related to HR processes, systems, and employee engagement.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decisions, identify trends, and implement solutions
  • Lead and support change initiatives across the site, including those related to culture, organizational design, and performance management.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that supports employee development and retention.
  • Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with corporate HR on initiatives such as shared services, system enhancements, and leadership development.


Human Resources Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • 7+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in HR leadership roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor HR teams.
  • Strong track record of driving process improvements and implementing data-informed HR strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading change management initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
