As a Home Delivery Driver, you'll provide the great H-E-B experience our Customers know and love by driving an H-E-B delivery van to take orders to wherever they may be. H-E-B will ensure your hourly rate doesn't fall below $19.00 per hour with a mix of hourly pay + tips. You keep the tips earned from your deliveries and there is no cap on the amount of tips you can earn so you may earn more than $19/hr.

What is the work?
Driving / Delivery Operations:
- Secures product in delivery vehicle; preserves condition during pickup and delivery
- Delivers Customer orders to specified location accurately, safely, and on time
- Unloads Customer orders from delivery vehicle; obtains Customer signature for order
- Complies with all traffic / safety laws and H-E-B policies
- Maintains cleanliness of vehicle; reports maintenance problems
- May help retrieve orders from eStore, as needed
- May perform other duties and attend meetings as assigned

What is your background?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age 21 (mandatory)
- Have had a driver's license for 3+ years and currently have a valid Class C Texas driver's license (no CDL required)
- Excellent driving record
- No moving violations or preventable accidents in the past 3 years
- No DWI, DUI, or related convictions; no felony convictions

Do you have what it takes to be a Home Delivery Driver at H-E-B?
- Advanced customer service skills
- Ability to read and follow a road map
- Ability to meet company and regulatory driving record requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Willingness to work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions
- Attention to detail

Can you...
- Pass a drug screen / background and Motor Vehicle Records check (at time of entry and on a periodic basis)
- Successfully complete H-E-B's driver training program (mandatory)
- Load / unload delivery vehicles
- Work in varying weather and traffic conditions; work while exposed to hot, wet, cold, and weather conditions
- Regularly lift up to 55 lbs
