In this role, you'll partner with state agencies that don’t have dedicated communications staff, serving as a trusted advisor to help plan, write and share timely, accurate and meaningful information with their audiences. Your work will play a direct role in how North Dakota state government communicates with the public and collaborates across agencies. What You’ll Do You’ll help bring the work of OMB to life by: Developing and implementing strategic communication plans for new initiatives, projects and campaigns. Writing, editing and producing high-quality materials such as press releases, articles, newsletters, speeches and digital content. Supporting leaders in communicating with the public and the media. Proven experience developing and executing communication plans. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to build trusted relationships. What Will Set You Apart Experience in public sector or government communications.
