FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Shift: Monday - Friday | Rotating shifts of 8am - 4pm and 4am to 12pm
Compensation: $20/hr

General Statement of Job:
Gill Logistics is seeking a versatile Box Truck Driver with light warehouse duties. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and efficient delivery and pick-up of medical supplies and equipment while also supporting warehouse cleanliness.

Essential Job Functions:

Box Truck Duties:

• • Ensure medical items are properly secured and stored during transport.
  • Follow verification processes throughout order execution.
  • Obtain signatures and input POD information for every order.
  • Report order discrepancies to Dispatch and the Area Manager.
  • Troubleshoot delays and obstacles with Dispatch and Area Managers.
  • Complete handoffs at designated locations and meet with other drivers.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain and report any vehicle defects.
  • Follow all traffic laws and operate the box truck safely.
  • Secure and maintain assigned equipment (pallet jacks, straps).
  • Ensure the truck is fueled and cleaned for the next shift.

Warehouse Duties:

• • Prepare and stage orders for delivery
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Communicate with teammates to locate requested hospital equipment.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to handle and transport medical supplies safely and securely.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and tasks.
• Customer service-oriented and committed to company success.
