MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT FOOD PRODUCTION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Connect Staffing is seeking Packers to fill openings at a food manufacturing facility in Colton, CA . This company produces cookies, bread, nutritional bars, and more.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (OT Required)

Shift: 2nd Shift – 2:00pm to 10:30pm

Requirements for Packer:

• 6 months of recent experience in a food production environment
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Ability to work safely at a fast pace for extended periods
• Ability to push/pull light product like cookies and bars quickly and safely
• Ability to lift trays weighing up to 20 lbs occasionally
• Must have steel toe boots – other PPE provided on site
• Reliable transportation
• Prior experience in roles such as Food Production Worker, Packaging Associate, Assembly Line Worker, Production Line Packer, Warehouse Packer, or Material Handler is a plus!

Responsibilities of the Packer:

• Stack bars in specific configurations as they pass on a conveyor line
• Identify and remove damaged product into designated bins
• Load product into feeding conveyor for packaging
• Maintain cleanliness and follow food safety guidelines
• Mandatory OT may be required up to 2 hours per day
