Job Description AECOM is seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to be based in the Cleveland, OH, Columbus, OH, and Des Moines, IA offices. This position is expected to begin no later than January 2026. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Conduct all design-related activities under engineering supervision Prepare engineering calculations, diagrams, sketches, and drawings Utilize computer software as a tool for designing and solving engineering problems Perform work in accordance with the allocated budget and schedule Attend design review meetings, record minutes, and maintain action items Research and apply related building codes, regulatory and industry standards Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure timely project delivery Perform surveys, create sketches, record dimensions, and analyze data collected Perform construction administration tasks, including shop drawing review, site observations, and other requests for information Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required. Valid U.S. Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit design software Basic knowledge of electrical components and characteristics Creative thinker with effective teamwork skills Strong written and verbal communication skills; articulate, assertive, confident Additional Information Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Sponsorship for U.S. employment authorization is not available for this position. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
