JMC Aviation are working with a global leader in the Business Aviation industry and are looking to engage with Aircraft Engine Repair Technicians .

This position is based in Wichita, KS and offers an excellent salary rate, OT and some great benefits. Duties within this role are as follows:

  • Conduct periodic inspections of engines and aircraft, such as Major Periodic Inspections (MPI) and Hot Section Inspections (HSI), following relevant maintenance manuals.
  • Troubleshoot and repair basic engine and aircraft-related issues at both on-site and off-site locations.
  • Assist with complex engine and aircraft repairs, providing support during on-site and off-site maintenance tasks.
  • Perform engine removals, installations, and replacements of engines and accessories.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble aircraft engines to maintain operational standards.
  • Replace Line Replaceable Units (LRU) as necessary to ensure proper functioning.
  • Aid Aviation Maintenance Technicians in operating ground support equipment (GSE), such as ground power units, tugs, hydraulic mules, and oxygen servicing units.

A successful candidate would have the following skills and experience -

  • Possess an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Typically bring 3 years of experience in turbine engine maintenance.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting engineering documents and repair manuals.
  • Right to work in the United States.
