Electrician C

Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical components and controls of plant equipment, machinery and facilities.

Must have Industrial Electrical Experience

Your Day to Day:

• Troubleshoot and repair solid state, relaybased, and air logic control systems.
• Install, maintain and repair switches, junction boxes, wire, control panels, various AC & DC motors, generators, and controllers.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers and various equipment control systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all electrical systems.
• Diagnose equipment trouble and make necessary repairs.
• Install and repair electrical distribution systems.
• Read and update electrical schematics.
• Know and apply local and national electrical code.
• Maintain equipment and leave work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Adhere to accountability, criticality, safety, security and hygiene procedures.
• Perform traceability function as required.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Minimum High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Minimum1years Maintenance/IndustrialElectrician experience required
• Demonstrated working knowledge of electrical control systemsand relay based systems acquired either through appropriate course work or equivalent work experience.
• Satisfactory performance in present position.
• Know and apply local and national electrical code
• Preferred certificate or associates degree from Industrial Electricity Program.
