Join to apply for the Drywall Installer role at All Wall Contracting, Inc. Overview Plans gypsum drywall installations, fastens drywall to metal framing and furring channels and installs drywall to cover walls, ceilings, soffits, shafts, and movable partitions in commercial and industrial buildings. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes but is not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned. Roll out power cords and check out tools and equipment needed for daily tasks Inventory materials, tools and equipment at the beginning and end of shift Measure and mark cutting lines on drywall for lengths, heights and penetrations Scribe cutting lines on drywall and break board along cut lines Fit and fasten board into specified position on walls, ceilings and soffits Cut openings into board for any and all penetrations Clean up and stock materials as required Must have knowledge of industrial standards Competencies Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience – Must have own trade tools as per attached list; must know how to use chop saws, screw guns, powder‑activated tools and set up and break down scaffolding. Physical Demands The physical demands described include standing, walking, using hands and arms, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee may need to lift or move up to 100 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception and focus adjustment. Work Environment The work environment includes exposure to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and vibration. Noise level is usually loud. Safety glasses and ear plugs are required.
