About the Position: This role offers the flexibility of being primarily remote while also requiring in-person coverage of depositions and legal proceedings. The position reports directly to the Senior Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with live Prevail depositions/sessions, which include:

  • Recording on Prevail platform
  • Deposition Read on/Swearing in Witness
  • Marking and maintaining Exhibits
  • Monitoring and managing the session
  • Assisting any sessions with technical/administrative needs
Required Qualifications:
  • Current Court Reporting or Notary License for state
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience with video conferencing/database platforms
  • Excellent working knowledge of Google Workspaces/Slack/Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • A webcam, headset, and computer are needed as well for remote depositions!

Compensation:

Appearance Fee: $50-75 per hour; Page Rate: TBD.
The range is based on several factors, including geographical location, level of experience, relevant skills, and knowledge.
