We are looking for a:

Content Marketing Intern

Terms of Employment: Part Time/No more than 20 hrs per week ($20 per hour)

POSITION SUMMARY:

• Strong desire to learn with professional drive
• Solid understanding of different marketing techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to multitask, meet deadlines and shift priorities
• Must be creative, imaginative and innovative
• Leads the exploration, evaluation, and planning of each project in collaboration with Marketing team, as well as with other internal teams
• Collaborates on individual tasks with project leads; Coordinates with functional teams and vendors (e.g. SEO agency) to identify requirements and parameters; enters each project into the project management system (ClickUp) and CRM tool (HubSpot) and tracks accordingly
• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation
• Superb interpersonal, communication, creative problem solving, understanding of customer lifecycles, campaign messaging tracks, and how to connect with a wide range of educational contacts
• Passion and experience in the education space (K-12) are a big plus

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist Senior Marketing Manager with upcoming campaigns including emails, blogs, social media posts, awards applications, etc.
• Research and apply for education awards
• SEO keyword, trending hashtag, and educational influencer research plus data analytics
• Develop long-form and short-form blogs/other content for Proximity Learning and corresponding company intiatives
• Social media content writing, community management, and interaction with other relevant accounts
• Strong communication skills and detailed project tracking
• Coordination of projects and deliverables
• Monitors project progress; tracks action items; reviews milestones, and adjusts accordingly

• Understand the importance and tactics of strategic SEO
• Persistence and professionalism; Ability to jump right in, analyze our current content landscape and devise a plan of action
• Absorb our product and competitive knowledge quickly; Passion for educational equity
• Experience managing projects and teams remotely and onsite
• Exceptional administrative skills and attention to detail

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Majoring in marketing, communications, writing or PR at an accredited college or university.
2. Tenacious approach to your work and ability to push through failure until you succeed.
3. Experience meeting deadlines and communicating project status regularly.
