FSS Staffing is hiring Cherry Picker Operators in Wilkes-Barre, PA

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cherry Picker / Order Selector to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Cherry Picker / Order Selector, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders for shipment, using a cherry picker or order selection equipment to retrieve items at various heights within the warehouse.

Pay Rate: $17/hr.

Schedule: 1 PM - 10 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a cherry picker/order selector to retrieve products from elevated storage locations.
• Accurately pick and select items based on order specifications, ensuring the right products are chosen in the correct quantities.
• Load and organize orders for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy in each order.
• Inspect products for damages or defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including the safe handling of equipment and materials.
• Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures while operating the cherry picker or order selector.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and accurate order fulfillment.
• Assist in inventory management and cycle counts as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a cherry picker or order selector is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking.
• Must adhere to safety guidelines and maintain safety certifications (if applicable).
