Savii Health is an Internal Medicine practice in Savannah, Ga. We are professional, innovative and our goal is to excel in patient care in all aspects including our billing / claims department. Our billing & coding specialist performs complex clerical and accounting functions for patient billing, including verification of invoice information, maintenance of third party billing records, and resolution of problems. Follows up on submitted claims and patient billing; resubmits claims or correct inaccuracies.

We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently processing medical bills, verifying patient information, and ensuring that all claims are submitted correctly. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of medical billing regulations and procedures, as well as strong customer service skills. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and interpret medical coding systems.
• Enter patient information into the billing system accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure that all insurance claims are filed in a timely manner.
• Verify accuracy of patient data and insurance information
• Resolve discrepancies in billing information.
• Communicate with insurance companies to ensure payment is received.
• Provide customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries.
• Precertification of imaging services and diagnostic procedures.
• Respond to lab billing trailers and update diagnosis codes per the patient's chart
• Work Claims Worklist in Athena EHR

Certification: Billing & Coding

Experience in Athena EHR preferred
