Bachelor's degree, Assistive Technology certification, and 1+ year Assistive Technology Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in training staff and parents on assistive technology use

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs for assistive technology and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement technology plans
  • Provide training and support to staff and students on the use of assistive devices and software
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of assistive technology solutions
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and technology assessments
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding student needs
