POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Administrative Level 4 will provide high-level administrative and operational support for the IT-AMS 2.0 project, ensuring that the project runs smoothly by managing schedules, resources, and documentation. This individual will coordinate with multiple teams to ensure all project activities are tracked, deadlines are met, and key stakeholders are kept informed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

• Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, or related field

• 9+ years of related experience

• Experience working with confidential information and maintaining information security

• Experience with various operating systems

• Experience with IT service management processes

• Proven ability to manage administrative functions of complex IT projects

Desired:

• Masters in Computer Science, or related field

• Experience with system design and architecture

CERTIFICATIONS:

Required:

CompTIA Server+

ITIL Foundation

Desired:

Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Required:

Gather data and developmental updates

Analyze data and identify trends to make informed decisions

Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems

Configure and manage operating systems

Operate and maintain disaster recovery sites including backup plan

Ensure compliance with IT security standards

Support and monitor day to day operations of IT systems

Analyze and resolve complex problems with system implementation

Provide support for hardware problems and solutions

Ensure system adheres to HHS security standards

Assist with risk management

SKILLS:

Required:

• Ability to work independently as well as in group collaborative environment

• Proficiency in Microsoft servers and Azure cloud

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbally

• Advanced understanding of servers hardware and software integration

• Attention to detail to ensure high quality deliverables

• Understanding of security protocols relevant to federal IT systems, including ATO processes

• Ability to adjust to new project requirements

Desired:

• Proficiency in Spanish

• Proficiency in Java and Java ecosystem
