Overview Primary Job Title: Actuary Alternate/Related Job Titles: Actuarial Analyst Life Insurance Actuary Valuation Actuary Actuarial Modeling Specialist Location: Remote — MA Onsite Flexibility: Remote Contract Details: Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: ~6 months Start: June 30, 2025 End: December 31, 2025 Pay Rate: $100 - $133.33/hr Responsibilities Build actuarial models for newly acquired institutional blocks using Milliman Integrate. Support GAAP, statutory, and cash-flow testing processes. Develop and maintain model testing tools. Update assumptions and quantify impacts. Partner with production teams to deliver quarterly and monthly valuation results. Follow model development best practices, including change management, validation, documentation, and governance. Support internal/external audits and regulatory exams. Required Experience FSA or established ASA designation. 4+ years of life and annuity insurance industry experience. Proficiency in MG ALFA or other actuarial projection software. Strong communication, analytical, and technical problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or related field. Nice-to-Have Experience U.S. GAAP valuation experience. Experience with Python or SQL. Prior work in fast-paced or dynamic environments.
